Expanded Melbourne Depot
Mackenzie Intermodal has expanded into larger premises at 60-66 Pipe Road, Laverton North this took effect on 23rd June 2008.
These new premises will allow us to better serve existing and new customers with expanded facilities and experienced staff and close proximity to the Melbourne Wharf & Terminals.

The trains arrive at Outer Harbor!
Thursday 31st January marked the milestone of Mackenzie Intermodal handling it’s first train on the newly completed siding at our Outer Harbor facility.
Servicing our daily Mel/Adl/Mel container service the first train consist of 27 wagons and a total exchange of 115 teu’s was successfully completed in a safe and timely manner.
This marks the beginning of another exciting feature in the future of Mackenzie Intermodal with an autonomous rail terminal at Outer Harbor to service our Import and Export freight customers.

Distinguished guests from Oetker Group
On Wednesday 12th September Mackenzie Intermodal was visited by and hosted lunch for Mrs. Rosely Schweizer and her husband Dr. Folkart Schweizer.
Mrs. Rosely Schweizer is the daughter of Dr. Oetker and is currently Chair of the Advisory Board for the Oetker Group. Rosely was previously Head of the Oetker Group's wine and spirit division.
The late Dr. Oetker was the owner of the Oetker Group. With more than 22,000 employees the Oetker Group is one of the largest family-owned companies in Germany. The advisory board overlooks all activities of the Oetker Group, including shipping (Hamburg Sud).
